Biography:

Dr. Muzong Kodi holds a PhD in African History from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, USA. He is currently an Associate Fellow of the Africa Programme of Chatham House. He focuses his research and consultancy work on governance and anti-corruption in Africa. He has undertaken consultancy work for international organisations, including UNODC, UNDP, DFID, U4 Anti-Corruption Resource Centre, the European Commission, and the African Union Commission. He recently wrote two policy briefs for the African Centre for Economic Transformation (based in Accra, Ghana) on good governance and transparency aspects of sustainable development challenges and opportunities in the mineral, oil and gas sectors in West Africa. He is a member of the International Academic Advisory Board of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), a member of the Board of Directors of the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Development in Africa (EISA), and Vice-Chair of the Committee on Governance and Popular Participation of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.
